Although this isn't a hobby, I just have to record my good work. I halfway followed the Sugar Busters diet and lost 5 pounds in one month. By "halfway" I cut out all the good dessert stuff - candy, cookies, pie, cake, pastries, etc. I ate a baked potato and even mashed potatos or rice a little. Not enough to prevent weight loss. I now weigh only 9 lbs more than my ds. If I lose more maybe ds will be encouraged (or out of a sense of competition) to lose weight. I'll weigh in again at the end of the month.
